These plans cover all of the above but in a group setting which is sometimes better and less expensive. Each business is quoted separately.

Health Insurance Small Group

Option 1
For employees you can get a group plan with many different options. For NEPA we represent Geisinger,  United Health Care, Aetna, and Highmark Blue Cross.  For southeast Pennsylvania we can add Cigna, Oscar, and Independence Blue cross. Each area is different with what  plans are available.  To get a quote we need a “census” of employee names with birthdates and tobacco status and home zip code.  If you are quoting their families we need wife and children’s name and birth date.   You can also quote group dental and vision, and group life insurance.

Option 2
The Affordable Care Act  allows for what is called a QSEHRA where the employee can still receive tax credit subsidies under the Affordable Care Act and you can institute a program where you reimburse your employees for a portion they have to cover. We do this through a division of our company at https://www.baseonline.com/ which does the “employee benefits administration to be in line with what the government requires.  If you want to try to do it yourself you can start with IRS Document 969, “Health Savings Accounts And Other Tax-Favored Health Plans.”

Option 3
You can offer a Cafeteria plan to employees allowing them to purchase group insurance in pre-tax dollars.  This is under IRS Section 125.  Again, administrators with https://www.baseonline.com/ can help you or, if you want to try to do it yourself you can go to the following link https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-drop/n-05-42.pdf
